I do read all his reviews since I have Leica cameras and lenses. However, I am not what he calls a LEICA MAN and I buy some great lenses from Voigtlanders and of course Zeiss. He is on target mentioning that Pentax is a bit late to the FF digital game. My first camera was a K1000, then ME SUPER, then stopped. When you have kids you use videocameras. When they leave, you go back to cameras. In the waiting for the FF Pentax, I went through Canon (7D and 5DII, 1 DIII) and found that they were wonderful, especially the 1DIII (crop sensor) together with their lenses, shooting birds in flight was a delight. I wish I could have done the same with the Pentax. Never the less, the first love is back and I am now using Asahiflex, and the K3 with the DA300/4. This FF would be for me to use the TAKUMARS and the three FA (31, 43 and 77). Why more? Ken had a nice idea. Why not a FF Pentax with Leica M mount, so we can use the wonderful Leica lenses on the Pentax? Maybe this can be passed on to Ricoh. In any case, today is a holiday for me, the FF is here and I need to order it now. See you around.

We shouldn't be clicking that link at all since he (probably, if he's bright enough) has the insight from where his page visitors have been directed to him. If we give him so much traffic when angered he'd never stop anyways.

You are implying that Pentax lenses are not good. I believe there is much historical evidence to the contrary.

It's just that I can't make a case for them professionally in a large corporation with a heavy video component.
Who knows? Maybe the next APS-C flagship *will* be the video platform. Maybe the K-3III with be the video monster!
But until that time...I wait.

KROCKwell isn't worth our time of day.

I was just on the B&H website and an individual who identifies himself as a "Pro Photographer" posted a brief "review" complaining about the video specs. I flagged the "review", of course, because it isn't one.

B&H states that expected availability is April 5th, so I just may have to make the 50 mile pilgrimage. Too bad parking is such a pain.
