As I said, the 150-450 + TC (f/8) on K3 focuses without any problem.
That's interresting as for me the AF is not specified (publicly at least) for that.

Questionwould be if it focus well and fast then in all lighting conditions as there was no TC?

I doubt it.

The Pentax ones are rated to f5.6 and would be interested to know which others might be better.

I don't remember, I don't like the IQ with my TC, so I didn't tested a lot (but it was fun to be at 450*1.4*1.5 = 945mm !)

Nice. K-1 visits Turkey.

But bad news for 645Z sales.

Because the PENTAX K-1 provides me with such marvelous image quality, it makes it rather difficult for me to decide when to use the PENTAX 645Z in the future.

The title made me laugh. They are honest at least. But that can also be a clue for a 645Z successor. More people then me daydreamed about a 645Z successor when Phase One launched its latest creation with 100 Mp on a record large CMOS sensor.

Well, an interesting yet unmatched way of being "transparent" (someone would say naive) marketing's wise.
I sincerely hope Ricoh will form now on really push their medium format POTENTIAL advantage : bigger sensors, really fast lenses, T/S and Leaf Shutter....

Why do you list "leaf shutter" as an advantage?

High speed flash sync would be my guess.

Swapping one limitation for a bunch of others, isn't it?

They need to move to FF 645 ASAP
Of the current lenses, isn't it just the monster WA zoom that's crop only?

Aren't they limited to just 1/1600s or so? And limited in how wide their aperture can be?
