Thank's for a nice comment!

I got the camera at 17.30 friday, drove to the dancetheater, mounted it in the car and took the first photos at 19.00. I used TAV with AF.C, using all focuspoints and assistent light. I will test more later. Mostly iI shoot with senterfocus and AF.S. I focus on what I want to be sharp, and then keep the trigger half way down, and then compose the picture. But here it was to much motion.

Wow ! Look like it has been a run... Thank you for giving a feedback so quickly
I also mostly shoot with center point and recompose but I avoid using the assistent light for some concerts. When I compare the AF in low light of K5 and K3, there is a real improvement and I expect the K1 to be even better

Whether you are an official brand ambassador or not, you're sure playing the part very well. Thanks for all your contributions here!

Well, if the first batch of K-1 freezes , it may be that the first samples were actually manufactured in Siberian winter :-)

It's spring in Siberia now and it freezes with Sigma only - Japan made.

Even though I'm a hired gun, i still like Pentax, and wouldn't change just for all the gear i get. I still have a job to deliver. Im just happy to be a part of what i consider a family, named Pentax

I have said it so many times, but i'll say it again; The future is bright So keep shooting and be happy!
In diplomatic circles the title of Ambassador is lifetime. You're certainly showing that in spirit you are an ambassador for the K-1.

That is a mantra. People should pay attention to what Ricoh is actually doing. A big media campaign is usesless. Too expensive. There are easier ways to reach your customers. Ricoh is organising events everywhere at retailers to promote the K-1. They are marketing directly to real customers. Supporting retail channels en reaching people.

Tell me honestly how you find the first picture of K-1 and 77 limited

A wild rose over rugged mountain canyon. I find it very fine! Those who miss the 3D effects of slide film should be able to find it again with this combination.
