To me they look suspiciously similar in size and shape to the new Tamron SP lenses!

They are the wrong shape, the lens to the right appears to be a zoom. Pentax will have need of a fast 85mm f/1.4 WR lens* - and they already have the designs for a very good 85mm lens.

*make no mistake the FA77 is an excellent lens, but as always there will be people complaining about the lack of a fast 85mm f/1.4 (or f/1.2) lens.

yes, but not for long I suspect. The FF camera has AF sensors capable of accurately focusing lenses faster than f2.8 .........

Indeed. What's really needed, the sooner the better, is something like a new version of the FA20. I'm sure the rebadged Tamron zoom is great, but when I (some day) buy the K-1, I'd like to have a light, wide prime with a similar FoV to my DA15.

Any improvement on this lens will be tinkering around the edges. My copy is simply divine and yes it is light and compact. I reckon Pentax could simply re-issue that lens and make a motes

If it doesn't have a problem that needs a little more correction (like lead glass?), i guess they could just tinker a little with the looks and add WR+HD.

The two lens in the video remind me of my 135 2.8, its internal focusing so appears as a straight tube with a thin rubber ring at the end, so maybe a 135 2.8 the smaller one and a 85 1.4 the larger.

Or have they come up with a modern version of the Adaptall system?
