The WG-M1 (the first version) was the same as the Kodak SP1. Is it different and a Ricoh-only product this time? Or is it still a rebranded camera?

Nevertheless, kudos to Ricoh for bringing out more and more interesting cameras...

So the release is is April,same month as K1...can't wait!...but it gives me time to sell 4 other waterproofs....this morning there were 2 YouTube clips...about ten now....underwater,snow skiing windsurfing kite boarding...its all ACTION....WELL DONE Ricoh!

Dare I say this ... this goes on top my wishing list, in front of K1. I could really have a lot of fun with it and at last I think the quality is there.

Problem is, I really need it tomorrow as I'm just packing stuff to go to Morocco on a bike touring trip. What is the chance it is stocked among the carpets, leather babouches and ceramics in the souk of Marrakesh? :-)

I doubt it - I have been there once before. But there is a modern district too and they might have something. I plan to have a look around to see if I can find either an action camera or a drone - Sahara would be a pretty good practice area, after all. Few structures you can crash into

Is there a lens, other than the Nikon 220-degree fisheye, that's wider than that?

Sort of. The Ricoh Theta does 360°, but it cheats by using two 180° lenses back-to-back. Does that count?
