These days, there is so much ambient light at night that fewer and fewer stars are visible to the naked eye. With the PENTAX K-1, however, I can capture the night sky in all its starry splendor—just like it was when I was a boy. Only the PENTAX K-1’s combination of high image quality and the state-of-the-art ASTROTRACER can provide such a sense of awe and wonder.
I'm sad now, I want to see such a sky with my naked eye.

Some years ago I was in Rocky Mountain National Park on Trail Ridge Road. We were up about 11,000 feet. At that altitude over half the atmosphere is below you. The views of the sky on a clear night will simply blow you away.

I wonder if the following photo (not mine) might indicate that the K-1 will also support a 4:3, 32.2MP crop mode...

Maybe the speaker was talking about what the viewfinder crop looks like in video mode?

Shouldn't that be 16:9 instead of 4:3?

True.
I really have no idea what the speaker may have been highlighting.

Perhaps he was illustrating the different aspect ratio compared to the 645Z.

The booth looks great.

I really like the display of the FF days from the beginning to now.

I worked for Seiko for 9 years and they have a museum similar to this. When I went to Makuhari, Chiba a couple times, the first floor at HQ shows the beginnings of the watch and then expanded upon the need to add plotters and printers for watch design, which, of course Epson sprang out of (son of Electrostatic Plotter), and their robotics division for watch manufacturing. Everything Seiko ever did began with the watch. It is great to see how Pentax remembers it's roots.

This his how viewfinder looks in crop mode. Red line just shows how much 4:3 covers compared to FF and Crop.

4:3 is better for me. It's middle format.

Would 4:3 be the sweet spot for current FA's? i.e. they are a bit overkill for cropped but quality fall off is a bit too much with FF
