I think rebadged tamron 35 and 45 lenses are logical.

Surprisingly no long telephoto primes considering the critics for lacking in this area. No D-FA* 300/2,8 or 600/4.

And no super zoom like 28-300.
DA*300/4 and DA560/5.6 cover FF.

Wide angle and ultra-wide angle? If it wasn't for the existence of the 15-30 zoom, I'd have suggested a 24 and a 15, both focal lengths having had a number of variants from Pentax in the past. I'm not sure if a 20mm would count as a UWA, these days.

What would be nice would be a 24/2 shift lens, given that the K-1 looks like an excellent landscape and architectural camera, but it'll probably be a while before we get one of those. In the meantime, I'll be interested to see results from the old K28 shift, especially given the sensor recomposition shift.

Perhaps the worst thing about those new lenses being "2017 or later" is that we'll have to listen more than an entire year about how they might be rebadged Tamrons.

the Nikkor f/1.8G full format lens line are very decent performers
Nikon has no problems about releasing f1.8, plastic, made in China lenses that perform great and are about 1/3 the price of their f1.4 stablemates. There is a lot to like about that formula. The 85 f1.8G is a good example.

Aperture matters. They used to make lenses with one stop larger aperture in their respective focal lengths. I was hoping for they would do that again in the next couple of years. Maybe they wait until they make a FF camera with faster burst shooting and more advanced AF chip.

Anyway, my guesses:
DA 12-28/4-5,6
D-FA Limited 24/2,8
D-FA* 50/1,4
D-FA* 85/1,4
D-FA 14/2,8
D-FA 14-24/3,5-4,5 Fisheye

Wide-angle single autofocus lens is not 35/1.8
It's not fast - not large aperture.

Large aperture ultra-wide angle single focus lens
means any lens from 8 till 24 mm.
I think it could be DFA24/2

As for fast standart lens - Ricoh will produce new DFA50/1.4 instead of old FA50/1.4. It's logical move. FA50/1.4 is VERY OLD lens and has plastic construction.

Who needs 45/1.8 if we have FA43/1.9 in production.

Aperture matters.
It's said officially in K-1's description at official Ricoh Imaging site.
DA*200/2.8, DA*300/4 and DA560/5.6 could be used at K-1 without limitation.

For me, it's "go big or go home". The slower and more compact alternatives are already there in the from of FA Limiteds.

Historically Pentax has been very conservative with wide-aperture lenses, so hopefully they change that up a bit with the K-1. If not, then you're probably right about the F1.8
Yes, you're right! I had momentarily forgotten that I already have the three princesses! Bring on the f1.4s...but a 20/24 mm f1.8 would be luvverly.

imho we lack a weather sealed prime for the K-1, there is just no such official FF lens available afaik (maybe the DA* 55 but I do not count this one because its officially an DA lens).
I actually would like to have a weather sealed kit of the K-1 but would prefer a prime (cheaper, optically better, lighter) over zooms.

Whats a weather sealed K-1 without a weather sealed lens?

Good and bad news from my point of view:

+ 4 new fast primes
+ including a fast UWA
- no fast super telephoto :'( !
- nothing more for 2016???
- big change on the roadmap: we ne longer have any "precise" information about the focal lengths. This is the end of the "if you look it with Firefox, you'll see that it's a 24-120!!" discussion :/

The fact that there is nothing more for 2016 (lens-wise) is surprising. That means that for the next two years, we'll only see 5 new D-FA lenses plus one DA lens? Weird.

Yes, but they are not fast, and can't match 300/400 f2.8 or 500/600 f4.

what were the original list prices for the FA*400mm f/5.6, FA*300mm f/2.8, FA* 600mm f/4 and FA*250-600mm f/5.6?

You forgot some:
Nikon's 500mm f/4 (not the latest): $7999 Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/4G ED VR Lens 2172 B&H Photo Video
Nikon's 600mm f/4 (not the latest): $8699 Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 600mm f/4G ED VR Lens 2173 B&H Photo Video
Sigma's 500mm f/4.5: $4999 Sigma 500mm f/4.5 EX DG APO HSM Autofocus Lens for Nikon 184306
Pentax's 560mm f/5.6: $4996 Pentax DA 560mm f/5.6 ED AW Lens 22180 B&H Photo Video

And all these prices are for new lenses. I'll be happy to spend $4000-5000 for a D-FA* 500mm f/4 (or f/4.5) at some point in the future (because I just bought a K-3 + 50 1.8 + flash + 150-450 ). See how long a FA* 250-600 for instance stays on the used market when someone sells it: a few hours. And its a $6000 used lens.

From pentaxforums, average paid new prices:
FA* 400mm f/5.6: $1200 https://www.pentaxforums.com/lensreviews/SMC-Pentax-FA-Star-400mm-F5.6-Lens.html (but 400mm f5.6 is covered by the 150-450)
FA* 300mm f/2.8: $2267 https://www.pentaxforums.com/lensreviews/SMC-Pentax-FA-Star-300mm-F2.8-Lens.html (3 guys paid it $1200 :'( ... A $1200 D-FA 300 2.8 would make me buy it within minutes ^^)
FA* 600mm f/4: $6533 https://www.pentaxforums.com/lensreviews/SMC-Pentax-FA-Star-600mm-F4-Lens.html
FA* 250-600mm f/5.6: $7000 https://www.pentaxforums.com/lensreviews/SMC-Pentax-FA-Star-250-600mm-F5.6-Power-Zoom-Lens.html

Based on previous form, any update of an existing lens would not appear on the roadmap. That's logical because if we knew an updated version of the FA Ltds, the DA* telephoto primes were coming, nobody would buy the remaining stock of the existing versions, and the retailers would be angry. So I think we might get updated DFA or DA lenses this year. There are plenty that could use a WR/DC makeover.

I would bet that all the lenses in the roadmap are brand new designs, or Tamron ones that weren't available in K-mount before.
