+1

My guess is:
Ultra wide angle: 20/2 or /2.8
Wide angle: 24/2 or 28/2
Normal prime: 50/1.2 (maybe a reissue of the A50/1.2 will work fine on digital (better than the /1.4)?)
Medium telephoto: 135/1.8

OK, maybe I will speculate

I think we need to let go of the FA series just like we let go of the K, M, A and F series. It is the time of the DFA.

So I have no problem with new "wide diameter" primes being released (I would bet on 24/1.4, 35/1.4, 50/1.2 and 85/1.4). They would be fast, weather sealed, silent focussing and optimised for digital sensors. Those who maintain their nostalgia for past glories can trade in the second-hand marketplace for the FA limiteds just as they still do for A* lenses and other legacy legends.

That's progress for ya!

I am thinking around more conservative lines:

Wide angle single focus is a 28mm F2.8 to F2
Large aperture standard is a 50 F1.4
Large aperture medium tele is a 135mm F1.8 to F2.0 (there are enough 85's and Pentax has the 77 ltd)
Large aperture uwa is a 24mm f1.4
Fisheye zoom a 15 to 25mm 3.5-4.5 (10-17*1.5).

I haven't read all the comments so far of this thread, but here is my idea. Pentax describes the DA 70mm f2.4 lens as "large diameter". F2.4 can be in the range of "large diameter" for Pentax, so there is no wonder that recent Tamron f1.8 lenses, that is 35mm, 45mm, and 85mm, are rebadged to be Pentax's own lenses.

I doubt that those lenses are going to be rebranded... why will they wait a all year knowing that they need as many lenses as they can to be out by the time that FF is out on the street.... if they are "just" ( with new HD coating and weather sealing ofcourse) going to rebrand them, I dont know why will they take that long??

It takes 1 and 3 years for Tamron's 15-30mm and 24-70mm respectively to be Pentax's after the initial models are released. It's no surprise that happens again. The reason for delay is that Pentax might want to avoid being labeled as "rebadged" when all models are announced at the same time.

I really wish the road map were more explicit about the specification and timing of these future lenses.

Why? Some of them never eventuate, and anyway, you can't buy the ones that do until they are released.
Besides, what would threads like this do with their spare time?

You don't want another lens designed by Jun Hirakawa. Right, I'll forward that to Tamron.
