DFA 24 mm f.2.8 ?

Look closely in this pdf . Seems like somebody has *pasted* info about a 24 mm *Ultrawide angle* f.2.8 , in this document about the 28-105

This is clearly a mistake, a typographical error most likely.. An ultrawide-angle lens is shorter than the shortest edge of the format: in this case on the Pentax K-1 that would be any lens shorter than 24mm.

I doubt it. If it was a typographical error it wouldn't be *f.2.8 *

Its probably a mix up with 24-70/2.8, since pentax doesn't use SDM in any of its new lenses any more. (except for tamron made lenses of course)

1. It's too early to leak lenses marked as "2017 or later"
2. SDM, that's a giveaway. No Pentax lens used SDM in a while... and there's no current Tamron 24mm I'm aware of.
It appears like an incomplete edit of the 24-70.

Yep. I would expect a DFA24 to get a f/2 aperture btw.

Part of the description of the D FA 24-70. If it were a prime it wouldn't say constant aperture. The 2.8 or maybe 2.0 wide-angle will be 28mm. De ultra wide angle will be a 24mm f1.4

It seems to me - it's from DA24-70

The "constant F2.8" is proving it's just taken from a zoom description so it's from the 24-70/2.8.

Agree - I think the 24mm ultra wide angle bit is just referencing the widest zoom (to distinguish it from the common 28-70).
