That's nothing compared to Tachyon Coating(TM), which will suddenly improve all photos ever taken with Takumar Era lenses :-D

Can't they add antimatter coatings too? They'd immediately annihilate any kind of dirt coming in contact with the front element, keeping it perfectly clean. Only need to make sure you don't touch it yourself, of course.

Anything new on the Irix? There was no updates on the homepage, not even on their facebook page. It seems like they dissappear as fast as they turned up!

You checked it 20 minutes to early. The pricing have been "leaked" published : 550 - 700 Euro.

leaked price is out there for quite some days.
I wished they spread the word regarding the release date and the filter you can put in there at the mount-end. Show the waiting crowd some example shots etc.
beside that... hopefully the street pricing will be below that

I think the price is quite impressive for the specs and anticipation they have made. No where near Zeiss. Close to Samyang. Now we need to get some reliable tests that place quality on the scale from Samyang to Zeiss.

Ahem ... image if people would have reacted the same every time Pentax didn't update the FF teaser for a couple of days. They have announced when the thing will be released, is that not enough evidence that they will not just disappear?
