Available in Germany and France too: EUR650 for the Blackstone, EUR450 for the firefly. I find the EUR200 difference a little surprising, given they are the same lens inside.

That is lower than recommended retail price. I have been keen on a UWA lens for some time now. I don't know who the distributor is here in Australia but if the positive reviews keep coming I may buy one for my K1 later this year. I think they have a strategy to take sales from both Samyang and Zeiss . This reviewer indicates performance similar to Zeiss. Time will tell.... If you hear of any good deals please keep me informed?

Yes, it may well be the best option of the current manual UWA lenses for Pentax FF. I will be watching it closely.

Of course, Pentax does have a "Large Aperture UWA Single Focus Lens" on the roadmap for 2017 (presumably AF). I may hang out for that ... whatever it turns out to be. Though honestly, I'm not sure I really need "wide aperture" in UWA. I never felt restricted by the f/4 of the DA15 on APS-C. Indeed, I hugely appreciate its compactness.

I really liked those pictures. No distortion to speak of. Lovely bokeh too If I compare my SY14 to this. I look what prize it catches and sell my 14...

I just asked them about the K-mount availability for this lens and I got this answer (today):
"
The Pentax K-mount version will be ready for sell by the end of this month.

Yours sincerely,
Tim Graff
"

I saw this lens at the photography show, it looks very solidly made, is weather sealed and the focus ring is smooth like a baby's b... I think it will be on my shopping list to replace my Samyang 14mm...

I saw it mounted on a Canon body but just looked through the viewfinder. If you Google it, you will see that a few tests have been done with Canon and Nikon bodies

Then I think I will skip the 14mm Samyang (and wait for the 20mm )
This IRIX Copy seems to be a REALLY good lens and for that money... boy!!!

I love the design of the lens, especially in the metal version. Hope these guys are successful and continue making cool glass.
