I guess he just kept the kit? What was it worth, don't think a film body and a simple 50 would be that valuable, at least not valuable enough to screw fellow members over.

So I did e-mail him through Flickr and provided my gmail address for him to respond to. Nothing. My hope is that we'll hear from him again at some point and the whole thing will make sense -- work or personal emergency, or maybe a dingo ate the camera.

So ... who was next up after Wild Mark? I've got a K1000 I can send in for an overhaul. And I have a drawer full of 50mm f/2 lenses. Seriously. A drawer full. We could have this back up and running in about six weeks, I think, given travel times.

No problems. Similar thing happened to me a few years ago while the Sightseeing Screwmount was on my desk.
