It's only needed if there's a space in the username, but it will still work fine if there isn't.

Though everything still seems to work fine after 30 years I've decided my wife's K1000 should probably be serviced.
I'm sending it to Eric (of course!) and thinking about requesting his apprentice do the work.

Niiiiiiice. I missed this entirely. I just re-upped my donation. Count me in on the schedule. I'll give the K a good go-around!

The TK1000 had to make a return trip to Eric for some more touchups, so the start of its journey has been delayed. @chickentender, you're not late! Consider yourself at the bottom of the pile and you'll be added to the official list in time. I hope this will be a continuous journey, like the Traveling Nifty Fifty, that goes on until the camera craps out.

I'll let you know when the camera has arrived back here again.

Cheers!

Can we get the itinerary put in the first post, for reference? The one that is there currently was superseded by the geographically-oriented route from Adam (I think), and that one is buried somewhere in the thread.

The camera has returned to my possession, and appears to be working fine now. I've loaded a short roll of B/W into it and will try and shoot it up over the weekend. I hope to have it on it's way to destination #2 next week.

I'll update the itinerary whenever I get time (maybe next week, due to the long holiday weekend). If you're interested, please post a reply and donate to the site, and you'll be (eventually) added to the list!

We had visitors for the weekend, which interfered greatly with my plans to shoot film. So, plans are pushed off one week. I'll be out this weekend, and hopefully have the camera in the mail on Monday. Patience is required with film photography.
