I can't understand why some people will have to destroy other people's reputation. All we have to do is to try to improve ourselves. If we are not at par with others, we have to accept it and move on.

Thanx to many good people on here, i got told early, so i could get a step ahead of this fake..So i have informed Ricoh etc, so i won't get in any trouble. Luckily..

Just received a message from admin on DPreview:

"Just an update to let you know the kensp0 account has been permanently banned.

I have also given a temporary ban to the primary user who created that account."

They should have been banned permanently. They knew what they were doing was wrong.

I will not speculate about people but I Think so because it is too much of a coincidence with the joke I made in the q-s1 thread, and Kenspo isn't very active on dpreview en thus not well known over there.

Maybe it would be a good idea to avoid humor based on giving false information or intentional misunderstandings (the notorious April 1 Pentax FF non-joke could be included). There is a lot of that on these threads. It isn't clever to begin with and it does provide opportunity for those who want to cause confusion or for misunderstanding by the naive. But I do not understand how anyone could take seriously most of the generally unsubstantiated rumors posted on these threads.
