Because I am an old guy I think in FF and translate on-the-fly to APSc. I never learned to think in APSc. I bought second-hand DA primes from sellers preparing for K-1, but my existing FF lenses no longer require translation.

Either way, I just expose to what I have with me but it is more natural with my FF lenses on K-1.

Haha, that's very close to me as a teenager. An M-135/3.5 followed the M-50/1.7 kit lens, then later a set of extension rings, and finally (I might no longer have been a teenager by then) a Vivitar 24/2.8

I found it easier to "think" in whatever format I was using; but then, I gave up on film after I bought my first DSLR. So now I'm familiarized with APS-C - but soon, I will "retrain" myself for FF.
Though thinking in a format is too abstract for me; I only guesstimate the results.

When I got my first SLR 37 years ago, I got a 75-205 Vivitar for my telephoto;
I've never been enamored with primes, and I couldn't decide on just one for telephoto.
Today, I continue that practice with the DA 55-300 ED WR

Imagine a 24-135 f/4 WR....
there's still the old Tamron's SP AF LD Asph IF 28-105mm F2.8.

As they already agreed on the 24-70mm (and i heard something similar about the 15-30mm) why don't they turn on this one?

I'm not sure anyone noticed - this patent is for the D FA 28-105 f/3.5-5.6.
Yes, a lens patent can have more than one possible embodiment. One is a 35-80 f/4, but another is for a 28-105 f/3.5-5.6 which looks identical to the D FA on the market. You can see that on the link in the first post.

The "100-300 f/4" patent can be made into a 70-200 f/2.8.

Actually they don't (I know you were joking, btw). A lens patent is not tied/named to a certain focal length and aperture ranges; they do specify a list of possible implementations though. But the patent is not restricted to them anyway.
As one can see in that link, the first embodiment was of the D FA 28-105; then, #2 to #4 were various 28-102 lenses, and the last, a 38-80 f/4. egami had to ignore the first 4 to get the title
