Starting to look like a valid upgrade to my K-5 IIs actually. I had been looking for a successor and I'm not at all interested in FF.Articulating screen would be a great bonus to me as is the step-up to 24Mp with the highpass simulation.

it's 1080i just like the K-S2. Still has the Prime II. Pixels shift (realistic resolution) is new for a mid ranger.

SAFOX X is a little underwhelming... Pixelshift is interesting. Sounds like a K-S2 with 24MP sensor?

I would think of it as a downgrade almost.
You lose the top LCD, battery grip, and a few little things like that.

For comparison the K-S2 dimensions:

Dimensions
Height 91mm Width 122.5mm Depth 72.5mm
Weight Approx. 678g (Including dedicated battery and 1x SD Memory Card),

K-70:
- The size of 125.5mm x 93.0mm x 74.0mm
- It weighs 688 grams (including battery and SD card)

A little bigger and heavier. Maybe it takes AA's?
