And if they had a track record of teasers or leaks two weeks before a big show, then people would know by now what they will know in twelve days. I would know no K-02 this year, so I would go ahead and buy the K-70, because what they release a year from now is essentially meaningless. Normhead would guess that a K-4 using technology prototyped with the K-70 and K-1 will most likely come at CP+ time, and he would make his buy/wait decision based on that.

Oh, and "people will complain" will be true regardless of which decisions they announced when.
You really complain for 2 weeks? really ?

Yes, the staff review should convince anyone considering the KS2 and K70 to invest in the higher specd. For what the K70 is capable of its a bargain.

Improved high ISO performance likely due to addition of additional processing chip. Higher max ISO. Higher fps rate. 4 mpix--19%--more pixels (24mp vs 20mp).

Wrong!!

The reviews thus far indicate that improved ISO is for real.

I'm guessing that 10% of the pictures I take with my K-30 would be significantly better if I had a K-70.

Instead of spreading nonsense, maybe you should bother to read the review or the one made by imaging resource

This camera has the best IQ of any Pentax aps-c Camera, and arguably the best IQ of any aps-c camera.

And maybe 50% with K3... For all you know, you'd need to test it first

I don't consider 6 FPS vs 5.2 or 24MP to be significant difference. I think if one doesn't check the numbers, and use both camera in a blind test for normal use, one will never see the difference. Remember that in photography we speek in EV: double the shutter speed, or light gathering through 1 apperture stop and so on.

The high iso may make a visible difference at time, But only if you don't sacrify on lens to get that. If getting even a mere K50 allow you to get an f/2.8 zoom instead, you get much better results with that.

Not everyone agrees. Certainly I am noticing the K-70 is a distinct upgrade over my K-50 for outdoor hiking and for sailing. The extra megapixels help when cropping on-the-go outdoor shots. And, since I live pretty far north in a normally foggy, gloomy climate (Newfoundland) the extra ISO especially under the forest canopy where it is quite dark even on sunny days.

K50 has more difference: low pass filter, 12bits. The biggest change apparently is more the low pass filter than between 16 and 24MP. That's what Dxo is finding anyway. But I certainly found some difference when cropping between K5 and K3.

There also the articulated screen.

But still if you get a K50 with a 17-50 f/2.8 you'll get better rendering overall and much better low light performance than getting a K70 wiht a 18-55.

My experience with the Sigma 17-50 f2.8--my normal go-to lens--on the two cameras differs from your description. Possibly it's just my copies of each piece of equipment.

So your K70 with 18-55mm f/5.6 get you better low light and better rendering, better sharpness than you sigma 17-50 f/2.8 at f/2.8 or f/4 on K50 as I get it.
