So there is only one lens so far that can use the new video features.
Video AF is possible with all DC lenses. Electronic aperture control only with the new 55-300. Other lenses don't have an electronic aperture, so it will use the physical aperture lever for those.

btw there is an new Firmware for the K-70

*gasp* already? I wonder if the wheels will still control the electronic aperture in video? Wouldn't the wheels tend to make it "notchy" with the click stops? I suppose the firmware could smooth it out...

Well that moire is definitely something not suitable even for making home videos. hopefully next model to come will offer something the one could be excited regarding video. If not low video performance, Pentax k70 would really be one of the best choices for enthusiasts making various imaging applications.

Looks like a good presentation. Only thing I would have done different is that If you advertise the K-70 for it's autofocus system then I would have put in the af sensor from k-3ii or K-1 and not the oldy from K-5ii.

Pentax should really quit the digital sr in video. It is just used to ridicule them. mechanical or not at all.

This sentence, in rsum, shows the amateurism degree of those chaps, mixing any segment or even mirrorless/slr altogether...
Not only industries need to progress, some of those whose communication pedagogy is full-job part shouldn't lag behind, and have no excuse for beeing misleading....

Unfortunately, some who watch won't know whether they know what they're talking about.
Generally, I refuse to use YouTube for the very reason that I have no way of vetting the author.

When you know your stuff, you also discover that TV or printed newpapers are no better in most cases. They don't really try to give high quality information. They just target an audience, copy the news from their feed without much thinking.

What ever the medium, one has to be selective and careful to get quality information. On many subjects, there so much politician or commercial interrest that one has to admit hecan't be sure that the information you go is actually of good quality.

There very high quality material on Youtube among the mass of garbage.

Is there going to be a K-70 "Clear" Edition featured in the Digital Rev TV episode, or was that just a display copy for show?

Back when I used to read actual printed magazines, I found the material in the ones aimed at the photographer market to be reliable; the same with Consumers Report, as long as you read their words to understand what weights they were assigning to different things. Those media had editors and the editors did their jobs correctly.
