Unfortunately, some who watch won't know whether they know what they're talking about.
Generally, I refuse to use YouTube for the very reason that I have no way of vetting the author.
When you know your stuff, you also discover that TV or printed newpapers are no better in most cases. They don't really try to give high quality information. They just target an audience, copy the news from their feed without much thinking.
What ever the medium, one has to be selective and careful to get quality information. On many subjects, there so much politician or commercial interrest that one has to admit hecan't be sure that the information you go is actually of good quality.
There very high quality material on Youtube among the mass of garbage.
