Samyang to release 5 new lenses in the next five weeks | Photo Rumors

First one looks like a new 85mm F1.4 there are speculations about them being AF.

"Focus Numérique", a french photog website, has just leaked the first lens in that new serie :

Samyang AF 50mm f/1.4 AS IF UMC

Sony Planar 50mm f/1.4 : premières photos et beau duel en perspective - Focus Numérique

and its definitely NOT for SLR, but for Sony FE mount.

Looks like they just added a tube to the back. Might come for dslr as well.

I'm afraid Focus Numérique haven't leaked anything. This is another lens, which was announced by Samyang back in May, together with their AF 14 mm f/2,8 FE, and officially launched on the Korean market (to begin with) on June 8th:

Samyang Optics, Lenses for Camera ? Cine ? CCTV ? Photo, Prime Lenses & Third party Lenses

Somewhere I read that Samyang was going auto focus. Maybe these are those lenses.

I think Samyang will only make AF-lenses for E-mount because that has an open specification. They don't want to muck about like Sigma and I doubt they will get permission from Canon or Nikon to license the protocol. Maybe they could become a member of the m43 alliance though. Four Thirds

This is interesting... Is Pentax's specifications open too, or they are closed as Nikon and Canon?
