Some rumours were that they might get announced sometime in 2017. Quite a long wait, considering we don't even know what the wait is for. I recently got the DA 21mm ltd and am quite happy. Not as fast, maybe not as sharp as the Samyang primes, but sharp enough, with amazing colours and contrasts, and super compact. Got it second hand for a reasonable price, one Samyang probably won't beat

I'd love to see some 21mm images from Lake Bohinj or up top on Vogel if you're near there soon.

This is probably a dumb question but could the diameter of the lens elements and the overall diameter of the DA 21 be increased a bit to become a FF lens without much or any increase in length? It seems like that would be an amazing little package.

Have a look at the Voigtländer Color-Skopar 20mm F3.5 SL Aspherical

Man, I was looking at the 20 a couple of nights ago, thinking, "If they made that in K-mount, I'd give it a serious look". And voila...

I have super powers.

Tonight I'd going to say to myself, "if Nikon would release that 85mm 1.4 lens in K-mount..""

If this experiment goes well, I e talking requests tomorrow night. Have your credit cards ready.

No honest I was thinking about that lens and k-mount after seeing it after looking for K-ount WA.
But I don't really have super powers.
I just made that up.

That lens lacks AF so not a perfect companion. That said, it seems possible, and this would be a great thing for K-1 owners.
