Would like to see a comparison between this on APS-C and the FA31 on FF since they are similar focal lengths and speeds. The DA21 is a nice lens and the size is great but I'd like something similar to the FA31 when it comes to speed.
+1. Exactly why I'm looking forward to the Samyang 20/1.8.

I have it too and love it.
Very good, not like the one tested years ago by photozone.de
And opens @f/1.7 (on all my film & digital Pentax bodies).

Funny - i just marked 20mm/1.8 as the lens I'd most likely buy in Ricoh's official Pentax lens survey. If this lens performs well, I doubt I'd wait for the Pentax.

Samyang pulled it off with the phenomenal 135mm recently, so I have high hopes.

Looks like this is now available for pre-order at B&H. No word on when they expect it to arrive, though.

It's not showing up amongst the FF Samyang lenses on the B&H web site as far as I can see!

The Rokinon-badged version is, but not the Samyang (yet).

For $599 it should better be very good into the FF corners.

That HongKong sellar has the 40mm as well. I have it and it is one of my favourite lenses on the K-1. Very sharp and tiny!
