Sorry though speed means little to me personally, I thought some might find this funny. (You know who you are
)
Just for comparison K20D:
Continuous Hi: 3 fps, up to 38 Best JPEG frames, 14 images RAW, 16 DNG*
• Continuous Lo: 2.3 fps, JPEG (Best) until card is full
• Burst mode: 21 fps 1.6MB JPEG, 115 frames*
Ok, two big flaws in this comparison. Well, actually you can compare anything you like, say a Pentax and a laptop. Stupid, but your right. Heck, I did it last semester when choosing which to buy -- limited budget. Anyway, as previously stated, the Canon 1000D and the Pentax K20D are not in the same league. Something else people seem to forget is that the Pentax is faster at processing -- I highly doubt the Canon 1000D could process the K20D's 10MB+ file sizes. Ok, true, you aren't comparing precessing speed but FPS ... in which case the Pentax wins -- duuuuh, 21 FPS!
Take care
