Theta Delta? Delta is often used for triangular shapes. River delta, delta flyer. Could it have three lenses?

just one more letter and they will get in trouble with some college/university fraternity.

IQ needs to step up. Would be nice to have a bigger sensor. Even 1/1.7 will be a step up. 1" even better!

I've been putting off getting a Theta. If this turns out to be true, I'm hoping to get my hands on this one before end October. I have a trip in November during which I could put it to good use! I'm going to Photokina, so I'll be asking...

Still hoping for a new Q, but close to giving up hope as well...
For the rest (APS-C front), I'm really happy with my K-3II. So I don't care much. But I said the same about the K-5 and K-3 (not with the earlier flagship models though), and ended up upgrading anyway.

A Theta with a faster lens would be really nice. The Theta series has so far lacked in low light capability, maybe this will change that?

This Theta Delta S is said to have f/2 lenses. So does Theta S.

The 'Delta' makes me think this one has three lenses instead of two.

What would be the idea behind this? Better optics (less distortion), but it would also require more processing power (which is needed anyway if it can record in 4K).

Indeed, the idea would be, taking advantage of the processing power offered by the new chips, to cover the entire 360° field with more lenses, each lens being less of a fish-eye.
