I doubt Mitsubishi was ever inclined to sell the Nikon camera business to Sony. There was never any pressing need to do so.

Hoya are on that list. Tamron have said that they make their lenses out of Hoya supplied blanks. But Hoya make their own glass too, so may only use CDGM blanks for specific requirements. Hard to tell what Pentax may use, at the end of the day. Either way, the 'secret sauce' of Pentax optics for many decades has been the coatings, not the glass per se.
