But you don't need a special iOS or Android app, Redcat, just Chrome or Safari on any wireless device ... can be a MacBook or a Surface, even.

Never tried the previous version, but this works just fine.Connects quickly & remembers the password. Installed on a Galaxy Note 3

Does the update require the firmware update on the K1?

I updated the app but not the camera, and it won't connect at all, not even to get past the splash screen...

This is on a Moto G 2015 running Android 6.0...

You don't need to update the K 1 firmware for the Image Sync app update.

This is how I run it :

I turned camera on, set wifi on camera, opened Image Sync 1.1.2 in device, put it password, took lens cap off, pushed LV button and device showed what I aimed camera. Moved focus area and pushed shutter button on device screen. Then shoot away.

I have downloaded right now the version for iOS 1.1.1 and I have not the live feed on my iPhone and iPad, nor I can activate or deactivate the live view on the camera. Also, I can't control the shooting mode. All the other controls seem to function, I can shoot and review all the images on the SD.

I tried also with 1.1.2 on Android, and it has the SAME behaviour. I fear it's a problem of the camera...

No, it works fine for me (aside from the annoying interface to select and download photos, which Ricoh really, really needs to revamp). I use it with a K-S2.

I have a lot of problems long pressing to download photos or share them. The long press menu sometimes doesn't respond, other times it doesn't stay open long enough for me to actually press 'download photo'.

Thanks to another thread on PF, I just learned that is the common behaviour when composition control is on. I put it off and now it function as it should.

What thread mentioned interference between Image Sync and Composition Correction? I have not been aware of this. Bracketing types are known to not work with IS.
