K-1 1.4 firmware released

At the risk of seeming timid, has anyone already installed this? Any problems??

Too late! I just instillaed FW 1.40 and all is well. Front e-wheel gives me 10 seconds to 20 minutes. Now for the sun to set so I can see what the red light LCD looks like

Am I being stupid (the stance I usually adopt in such matters) or is there no countdown display on the bulb timer mode? - otherwise brilliant - features install easily, are well integrated and work perfectly as far as I can see

I am very pleased with Ricoh/Pentax. They do for the best. I do not need the new features but I shall be updating the new firmware for SR..

Nope! Just make sure you have full batteries before you do the update, to be safe.

the white dot thing - if I'm not mistaken it only affects jpegs, and users that have white dots (I don't believe I have that issue myself) will still have them in their raw files?

Awesome to see extended exposure timers, didn't like that 30s was the longest exposure (previous body (em1) spoiled me with incredibly long exposure modes and in body stacking/stitching, hope Pentax can implement something similar in future). Need to test the night vision thing, see how it looks.
