I've had Kewpee burger.

With the "Hamburger pickle on top, makes your heart go flippity-flop!"

Tasty!
I grew up near Lima, where Kewpee is a main stay, although I must confess the doll is a little creepy...

I've been all through the ranks with Pentax, I started with k 1000, had several ME's now lately have Kx and a K3 II. With the exception of a few years I went to fu ji for camera because I was in dust and it worked for me. ( and I could buy them in Wal mart. So if I ruined one I could find one quick ) I have 3 lenses that work for me for now, but still looking, guess I should've kept my old lenses but they were manual my new ones are auto focus . Any way still happy with Pentax even though they don't advertise a lot.

Ricoh Pentax US Website inconsistent and missing K1 ...

I just accessed the Ricoh/Pentax USA Website. Click on "products" ..and all the DSLRs show up, including the KIII, K1 and 645z... BUT.click on K1 (or KIII, or K70, or 645z)... and no corresponding page shows up - either by error, incompetence, or indifference... Instead they offer low end cameras, plus the KP, K50 with which you can make comparisons...(like comparing apples and oranges).

..so it looks like the K1 is not being marketed either.

This is worrisome folks. If Ricoh cared about the DSLR and higher end market, it would not front a fragmented, incomplete website like this.

Your going to see that a lot with the other international Pentax sites..Reading the Consolidated Key Figures Report, it seems that Ricoh is now expecting more ROI from Japan than from overseas for the rest of 2017..Just like I kind of predicted, change our appreciation of Pentax from Minolta to Leica-ish style..I mean like, homegrow better your brand, and forget about the world..it happens a lot with bicycles, right?
So , yes, you probably see in US and European Pentax sites less exposure for high end and a lot of exposure for entry level, to lower inventory asap..

One could hope that they will update the site and information so that it is current. But I am not going to be too optimistic..

The announcement clearly printed at the top of the homepage might explain things. The individual item description are probably hosted on the Webstore site. The Webstore has been a third-party contractor for quite some time, but it feels like things are changing -maybe for the better.

Hi All, hasn't it been about 7 months since the KP was announced? Maybe they are getting ready for the K3iii!

Old news...It has been a long time (years?) since the Pentax USA Web site has been complete and working properly. I guess that illuminates the depth of the long-term conspiracy and game of shadows that has been played. The K-1 is a grand hoax on the same order as the faked moon landing. What is more, the so-called K-3II is nothing more than a mildly modified K-7 that is being pulled from the market due to the defection of a few key people who were responsible for generating the faked pixel shift and astrotracer images.

It has been at least 2010 since Pentax has produced any real product or actually sold more than a dozen or so of its cobbed-together Frankencameras. The conspiracy extends to this forum where most of the content is created as fake comment by a handful of poorly-paid uneducated lackeys chained to a single long desk in a deep underground bunker.

We have been royally pwnd.

K-3II & K-70 back on Ricoh-Imaging's web site

Both cameras are back on the web site (with new pages), indicating that they are still for sale. Or, at least, they will be when the site reopens for orders (supposedly tomorrow).
