I dont get why we dont have any color of that one, it starts becoming annoying for us potential buyers...

I can sympathize. I still think K-1 and KP were expected to appease us.. much to the dismay of many. They've announced new bodies in the September/October time before though... so might be right around the corner.

If they are going to release a K3 II sequel, it would make the most sense to announce it in the fall and release it before Christmas. Seems like January would be the worst possible time for a release -- I don't know any one who has spending money then...

Not sure. The peak birding season is in spring. No hurry to release that kind of camera because Christmas (I'm talking for me

). Prime lenses for the K1 should come before Christmas. Ok, at least Pentaxians should know early enough what to order to Santa.

True.. I think the K-3 (original version) was released in October 2013, IIRC.

I think maybe save a lens for CP+. I'm hoping for Sept/Oct we get K3 III, K-1 silver or gun metal edition, and FF primes!

Fully agree with that timeline, but we are already mid August.
I shoot for almost one year with my RX100 which gives excellent results but way too short in terms of range, needing this K3 III asap to get my lenses back!

I expect a K-3ii replacement pretty soon. The KP and the K3ii are an ill fit together in the line-up. Over here the KP cost significantly more than the K3ii!
