Discontinued already. Pentax comes out with new models too fast. When my K5 met with an untimely demise, I thought of getting a new one but the K5 line was discontinued. Then I thought I would get a K3 but it was discontinued because the K3 II came out. I bought it in November and now it's gone too?

The K-3 II came out in April 2015...as a minor upgrade to the K-3 which came out in October 2013...I got my K-3 in March 2015...

I can understand the thought. I remember a humorous commercial years ago where a guy is driving with a grin on his face, with a brand new desktop PC in the passenger seat. He had just bought it. He drives past a billboard that was just update to the latest and greatest model (his was a model number lesser). The grin goes instantly to a frown.

Such are digital cameras today. They are just proprietary computers. I still enjoy using my K-5 II and K-r though (even though I'm looking forward to the replacement haha).

2017 is the year for a new GR The GR III should be there before the end of Q2. K-70 successor maybe too. Once the K-3 successor is out they may be ready to upgrade the medium range body's to SAFOX 12

I'm pretty sure the new GR is coming soon. The price of the GR rarely budges in Japan, but it had a price cut in most stores a couple of weeks ago.

Yes. That's new. In the last two years it was over the other side, where Nikon is now. I think it's about the same size as before, or maybe a bit bigger.
