On the one hand, mirrorless is pretty much the future, and while a lot of companies are making great strides in that direction, Pentax hasn't really. The K-01 and the Q series were essentially failures (even though I know they have some fans). So coming out with a proper, good mirrorless that can challenge the likes of Sony, Olympus, Fuji and Panasonic is pretty much imperative.
On the other hand I don't want it to replace the K5/K3 series! I love my optical viewfinder, the K3 body and almost everything about it except the AF.
If they release a mirrorless alongside a DSLR K3 replacement, good. If they replace the flagship APS-C DSLR line with a mirrorless line, I will be a very unhappy customer
