645z, I do not know. Maybe this is where they move to mirrorless? 645z was announced in February 2014. I do not think, without outside pressure, they would update it until 2019. But with the Fuji medium format and the 45mp Nikon there is some pressure to release a new model. But only so many hands to do the work. What will bring the most return for that work?
I was being silly. People on the forum (for the most part) are only interested in K mount stuff, so the announcement of a new Q would only make a few happy, the same with a 645z sequel. If people weren't happy with a K-P release, those other things are definitely not going to make them happy.
I should say that I think releasing another generation Q along with the macro lens would make sense (it seemed to be a big seller in Asia). Not sure about the 645 program -- probably full sized sensor, eventually along with more glass?
