It was. No sensor struggles in good light, under excellent conditions most images could be shot with phone camera sensors (ignoring the lens requirements).

When you show it at half the size you are doing here. it looks to closely cropped.

well..... they dont want to threaten the K-3 series with KP series. Well currently its still a threat if its confirmed price will happen to be much lower.

This also means the K-3 series will need to make a much more capable successor that what the K-3 II was to the K-3 (better AF (50+ points), better tracking in AF-C, better deeper buffer with faster clearing (pentax is awful here), thumbstick, 9-10FPS burst, UHS II or XQD).

It will be best to share also some future designs with us, so we can help them with design decisions

For me... I really want pop-up flash commander, classic roller layout, top display with backlight, SAFOX taken from K1 and honed, 1/8000s shutter, BSI RGBW CMOS with 20-24mpix, 8-10fps, remote cable connector, IR remote port, flash cable port, 2x SD slot, DLI90 battery..

Since we will now have the KP (i'm unsure where it fits - we're told it's not the K-3 II successor) I want the true K-3 successor to be a super APS-C body - something like Nikon's D500 - awesome AF capabilities in a Pro Crop body. Something tells me Pentax won't have advanced their AF tracking enough to deliver this. I really hope they prove me wrong. There's nothing in this KP body that makes me want to replace my old K-3.

btw. consider what D500 cost.. are you willing to buy pentax like this for cca $2800?

For me something around $1800 will be the ceiling for "K2" camera for example.. $2000 if it will really shine. But not more.

Except for the K-1 SAFOX, you are describing the K3. That would be the most minor update imaginable

I think the K-1 SAFOX won't do, I'm with anu I.

I'd happily pay K-1 money (Pentax usually underprices the opposition after all) for a D500 competitor. YMMV of course, but I want a tangible upgrade - not gimmicks.
