Positives:
+ Changable grip sizes
+ Flippable screen (slim lightweight type)
+ Probably Wifi and/or GPS in the thing on the top, shown in the flash up image
+ Gorgeous silver version

Negatives:
- No top LCD
- Five wheels is one too much
- D-Li109
- Miniature flash (Is it a joke or a cipa battery test cheat trick?)
One of the main concerns when GPS was substituted for the built-in flash was that this removes a way to trigger off-camera flashes optically. By including both GPS and a miniature flash they may have removed that point of criticism? Maybe the space just isn't there for both GPS and a 'proper' pop-up flash, so they went for the best possible compromise.

As long as it works as a wireless P-TTL controller, that's good enough for me.
(Does fill flash from a built-in flash ever look good?)
Built-in flash usually look less disaster then ISO 51200. Its an emergency function I need sometimes.

I wonder if one of the wheels can be selected to be a dedicated ISO selector? That would be good since that is one of the buttons that is missing and one that I use a lot on my K-3.

How might this conversation turn if it's revealed that the side grips include electrical contacts?

What functions might the grips serve besides their obvious function?
Electro-shock feedback for bad composition?

Maybe they've gotten that accelerator unit (debuted in the K-70) to the point where ISO 51,200 looks passable.

I think I'm going to buy it along with the 15 Limited, 20-40 Limited + the new 55-300. What a combo for trekking...

Maximum shutter speed 1/24,000 s (electronic shutter)

New generation 24.33 Mpix APS-C CMOS sensor
- 'PRIME IV' image processing engine with image accelerator unit
- 5-axis 'SR II' in-body image stabilisation (5-stop correction)

Ouch

So it seems:

Better than K3 II in:

Image stabilisation
Image quality (potentially)
Tilt-screen (but looks less practical than on K70/K-1)

Same:

AF system
Video (unless 60p instead of 30p)

Worse than K3 II in:

Continuous shooting/fps
Missing top LCD
Weaker battery (potentially)
Only one SD card slot
ISO now on four-way controller

Subjective:

Design
Control layout

And asahi man reports in the new thread that this isn't meant to be the K-3ii replacement.
