Come on, I spent all my money on a K1, don't tell me that they've improved AF on the KP.
That is not fair and totally out of context! Hahahahah... the original question to Kenspo was if the AF was improved over the K3II, not the K-1.

A few of the hands-on reports of the AF on the KP seem to feel it is noticeably improved over the K-3ii.

Not sure..end of the month?

K-1 is still the best options on most parts. Even AF remember its old AF with new algorythm (safox 11)

Can you tell what kind of improvement? AF-S on K-3II was already ok. It was AF-C that surely needed improvement

Yes, and not too hard to imagine what a K3ii successor may look like as well.
That KP really does look like the K1's APS-C baby brother (sister?).

How much stuff would you have to give up to cram a full-frame sensor into that body? Who here would be prepared to do without SR and all that it brings you?

I admit my willingness to do so is because I've been spending a LOT of time in the last couple of months shooting with an *istDS and over a year shooting heavily with film cameras.

Funnily enough, I often find myself wishing my PZ-1p had SR. I'd actually find it much more useful on film, where changing ISO on-the-fly isn't possible.

Nope. I wouldn't even be shooting Pentax without SR.

And here, it must be admitted, is where putting SR in the lens has its origins and advantages...

Shoot without SR? In-body SR is one of the main reasons I chose Pentax. It is one of the major advantages Pentax have over Canon and Nikon. Nope, SR on my camera is a must have! A Jedi photographer needs that! A Pentax camera without SR is like a light saber with lights!
