The KP user manual is available on line. People were wondering about the DOF preview since it is not on the power switch. You can map preview to any of the three Fx buttons. As I recall all the non-flagship models a button is settable for preview.

How is it good for timelapses when the screenshot you shared says it can't be used in interval mode?

@lithedreamer - Then you bring out your 3rd party intervalometer

I don't get the technical reason for the limitation with SR and interval shooting. Anyone knows ?

Why?
ES can be turned off during LV.
Same for K-1.

Probably some more software costly development with no practical interest : interval means tripod.

I think he means that ES reduces vibrations.... but is of no use in timelapse.

To clarify my question was about using ES with SR or ES with interval shooting. I'm pretty sure it's software for interval shooting but not sure their is not a technical justification for deactivating SR with ES.

ES versus SR: Read the note about image distortion. When SR is activated the sensor moves while the exposure is made. it is similar to the Jelly effect in video

does that mean that in camera SR is a major factor holding video back?

I'm guessing it's the noise. My IS Olympus XZ2 had a truly annoying noise for videos when SR was turned on. I wasn't as in to gear then, took me a while to figure out what the knocks and background noise was.

Sure you can use an external mic, but the average internet armchair reviewer would hear that noise and overblow it.
