Good grief that camera is expensive, you can get a K-3 II with an 18-135 for less than a KP body over here.

Which would be a better option if you don't shoot low light. But it's the camera market that is hiking up prices. The K-3 II successor will probably be more expensive. $1400 maybe.

A pretty fair review. A good comparison versus the k-70. At least I know the image quality at high ISO settings has improved over the k-3II. I hope to see a huge improvement on k-3II replacement.

I wouldn't expect much of a difference in high ISO performance between the KP and the next K-3 series camera. There isn't a lot they can do in so little time; the improvements seem incremental still. I think the differences will be in the handling, buffer depth, and (perhaps) AF system between these two cameras..

Maybe it would be nice if someone who has a k-3II and a kp would have an AF comparison test. If the kp's AF ends up to be better, it can entice people to buy it. One thing for sure is it's a gorgeous looking camera.

After full buffer in 35 JPEG, the speed slows till 5.37 fps. Really good.

As for RAW - 10 shots and 1.47 fps. So-so, but not bad.

The writing to the card is slower then it was for K-3.

Well still no real use for uhs-i(i) fast cards. Wich would be great and compensatie for a small buffer.

This is not a machine gun camera. It will be mostly used for single shot photography and you can still take shots when the buffer is cleaning. The K-3 II successor will be faster.
