There is a visible difference at ISO 3200 too, but I did increase the ISO to make it more visible. The rules of physics haven't imploded yet.. FF are better then APS-C.
Do you really use such ISO in real life? Of course, FF is bigger than APS-C and better in terms of signal-noise than APS-C,
but K-70 can compete at main ISO.

As for me, I use only ISO80-320, 400 is very rare.

But it was the answer to me about AF. You should write it not to me, but to D1N0.

I haven't done anything impolite. Please get rid of the habit of attacking people out of the blue.
I wasn't even answering any question, just pointing out to your mistake. The thing is, K-1's (and KP's) AF likely benefits from the faster CPU, as they don't have their dedicated processor. But nobody is claiming that's the only factor.

It's not mistake, but the question. And the question not to you. Do you understand it? It was sarcastic question.

Tell me how you view (not pixel peep) images, in a real world gallery or on screen. Do you check what number of megapixels the images are and pick up a magnifying glass according to that?
Of course. Doesn't everybody?

Or do you stand closer to a 50 Mp image then you do to a 5 Mp image in a gallery?
Yes, this too, sometimes.
QuoteOriginally posted by Simen1 Quote
Or do you usually not know how many megapixels they where made from and just pick the same distance from all equal sized images?
Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. If I don't know how many MPs, I make inquiries, and then adjust my viewing distance accordingly.

What about backporting those improvements to the K-1?

I hope you can post us some unedited jpegs. I'm really curious how good this thing is. Not that I'm planning to get one. Maybe if I have the cash, I'll get one for my daughter. Maybe next will be one for my wife. Ouch my pocket hurts.

Really hope more example high ISO examples get posted.

Aside from the benefits of higher ISO with less noise, the other interesting features on the KP are the shutter speed and f-stop bracketing. This could be great at versioning portrait, or still life subjects to get ones with no blur or better bokeh. Sometimes you only get one pose and this really expands the possibility that one version of them is better than the other two images. Although PixelShift is a nice feature, unless you have an immovable subject along with a tripod, the resulting merged photo may be blurred in some areas. So it has limitations to its benefit. In contrast having a noise-free higher ISO that buys some additional faster shutter speeds that can freeze a moving subject seems like a feature with more possibilities.

I like the direction that Pentax designers are taking at giving photographer more new features to expand their results..

Its hard to get more high iso examples..The FW is not even done yet. My experience with the camera so far, is that its a bit better then K-3, but nothing compared to full frame.
