It's not even half the fun if you don't get money per click on your fantasy-blog.

The mechanics are just the same as with any tabloid. "Aunt Lizzy witnessed the Loch Ness monster" sells the paper and makes money for the producers even if they don't believe the crap for a second themselves.

I used to shoot Nikon, so I have read Thom for years. My observation is he is an astute observer of the camera companies and trends, and clearly has deep contacts with Nikon.

He has no time at all for Pentax, but I would suggest he does know about the KP - it was a bit hard to miss on the likes of DP Review.

I don't find evidence on his website that he has credible insight into Ricoh/Pentax, the Pentax brand, or Ricoh's plans.
