Is anyone going to the Pentax In-Store event at Glazer's Camera in Seattle today? It's 10:00-6:00. I'm not sure what they'll bring, but I'm going to go by this afternoon. Neither Glazer's nor anyone else retails Pentax in Seattle, so I at least want to acknowledge to them that there is interest.

They had a similar event last month. I was the only one hanging out with the rep during the 45 minutes I was there. It was nice to be able to get a feel for the newer lenses on my K-1. Glazers carries Ricoh products and I believe the 645Z.

It was fun. I got to handle 645z, K1, and the new KP. I also took the 28-105 off of the K1 and shot a few snaps with it through my K5ii.

...I kinda want a K1, now...

Oh, how was the KP??
Is it much smaller than the K-1 (I have seen the camera size comparison website...but it is hard to get a feel unless you see it in person)?

I just posted some cell phone photos in the "why I will buy a KP" thread. Check them out.

The KP looked and felt very good in my hand. It's not all that much smaller than my K5ii, but I like the style and it feels really professional and legit. I think I get what Pentax is going for and I think it might work.

Shoot, I live in the area and didn't even hear about this event. Course I tend to drive further for Kenmore Camera or Robi's Camera as both are solid Pentax retailers.

I checked Glazer's site for hours, because I wanted to buy some film and it was a banner ad. Dumb luck, really.

I like Kenmore too. I don't know about Robi's.
