Interesting posters.

Notwithstanding the several typos or glitches, I think these posters are wonderful expressions of the Pentax brand history and 'DNA'. I wonder if we'll see a similar poster of lenses.

It's interesting how the "Pentax Archives" poster depicts certain cameras. I presume that the size of each graphical element relates to the camera's significance. I would have thought that the K1000 and 645Z deserve more prominence. And the K-1 is not accompanied by any description.

That ring of colour really stands out!

Pentax and Ricoh/Pentax continue their tradition of somewhat-quirky (but likeable) expression. I don't think we'd see any other company state something like "Curiosity for manufacturing that has honed the power of expression." Glad to see the Pentax brand continuing to place itself in a unique spot.

Pentax History Posters in pdf format
Pentax history seems to have stopped in 2016. I can't care less about history. Where are the K mount primes for my K1?
Next purchase in 2020, Nik. Z6 or Z7 and 3 primes since I can't get them for my K1. I'm looking at buying a Nikon Z and 3 primes (24 1.8, 35 1.8 and 85 1.8).

Didn't DFA*50 and DA*11-18 get released since 2016??

Though if Pentax isn't doing it for you, I'm sure the Nikon Z will.

On the PDF, they show history up to 2016, nothing after 2016.

Now that is a positive decision - move forward with whatever works for you. We're all different in our requirements, and if yours are met by a Z6 and Z7 with the respective primes, go for it!

it always feels good to temporarily relief a GAS crisis , it's only the bank account that doesn't particularly appreciate the forward move.

The first poster was published in 2016 and features the K-1 as latest camera. The file name is PENTAX_HISTORY_2016_poster.pdf

The second one was published in early 2017 and features the KP as latest camera. The file name is poster_A1_slr_cameras1952_2017.pdf

NO, NO, NO. You're going to buy APS-C and medium format. You don't want to make the same mistake again and buy the biggest compromise system available, which is full frame (according to you), don't you?

Your bank account won't appreciate buying a full frame, but it will appreciate you if you buy an APS-C and a medium format with additional lenses and will further appreciate you once you start spending 400$+ on each big 60x60" + print? Now that's interesting...
