Just out of curiosity, what is the internal process you go through to choose which new lenses to design and release?

Are there plans for further development and improvement on the software side for desktop and mobile? Imho software is an increasingly relevant part of the overall experience. Current software has a lot of room for improvement and doesn't match the good experience of it's hardware. (DCU and Image Sync on Mac and iOS for my part.)

Are you going to develop cheaper options for the 70-200 F2.8 and the 15-30 F2.8, example 70-200 f4 and 15-30 f4 ?
Are you going to develop a modern FA 77 with DC or 85mm 1.8?
Will we see an update for K-1 that support 4K?

when they will reduce the price of K-1 in Japan to about the same as in the US? (if Japanese market is that important to Ricoh, they better be fair to user at home too.)

What are your plans for strengthening sales through Ricoh North America? We have seen many dealers drop Ricoh/Pentax, others who used to carry Pentax have gone out of business. Some dealers listed on US Ricoh website do not carry Ricoh/Pentax products anymore, while others who do are not listed. Will Ricoh pursue retail presence by concentrating efforts on handful of specialty/boutique stores (which limits opportunity to see products in the hand), or seek broader distribution through big-box retailers (who may be reluctant to make space for a minor player like Pentax)?

What ways will Ricoh seek to make their products a better value for consumers? Lower prices, more features, better 'quality', improved warranty, better service and repairs, (please not more color combinations), more customization or personalization options?

There have been many enthusiast fixed-lens cameras of exceptional quality lately - Sony RX1, Leica Q, Fuji X100, Panasonic LX10/100 (Leica D-Lux) - is Ricoh considering a similar camera, above the GR?

Can we get a 110mm/f2 limited lens, please?

1. Will Ricoh release a Windows 10 64bit PEF codex.
2. Will Ricoh work with Capture One to support Pentax metadata and pixel shift.
3. Will Ricoh release a tethering SDK to software developers.

In other words, will Ricoh promote its camera technology to the industry or will it continue to fall further and further behind.

There is still a lack of affordable fast normal prime lenses for APS-C, even on the road map -- the DA 35/2.4 is not fast and the FA 31/1.8 Limited is not affordable. All we have is the offerings from Sigma (30/1.4 Art) and Samyang (35/1.4). Every other APS-C or 4/3 system except Canon has an affordable first-party fast normal prime, even Nikon and Sony (Alpha) with their similarly long flange focal distances.

Does Pentax plan to ever address this hole in the lineup (they also need a 28mm FF lens; could we see one doubling as both?), or should I stop holding my breath?

oh i have another question: does pentax know that their android app is quite bad? Its not only the quality of usability, its also the way how the app connects to the phone and why that cant be an automated process remembered in-app. Why is there a limitation on 1-shot with app-remote? how come live view only works every so often, not always? And how come the image transfer speeds with pentax wifi seem to be from 1999. Transfering images from my phone to my computer via airdroid works flawlessly and fast, why does this not work from K-S2 to phone?

Does Ricoh have any plans to develop photographic quality printers, in particular a monochrome printer with a stack of gray scale inks? Suitable with popular photographic ink jet papers.

I ask with others questions on the roadmap for APS-C cameras and lenses?
and on entry level/enthusiast 35mm full frame camera and lenses?
Plans for GR?
Tethering and auto focus?
Will Pentax ever develop a no nonsense retro style film camera again? Seeing the resurgence of film use again?
