Regardless of appearance, I would have purchased one instead of K-30 if only it had an EVF.
And now I'm hearing it may not have aperture control issue which bedevils K-30.

I'm not afraid of a silver K-1. If they make it gunmetal, though...

I was going to chime in with the same thought. I would probably have very little hesitation in buying one if they made a gunmetal version. (Provided I have the funds for it )

Regular DA40 Ltd, both SMC and HD, have PENTAX instead of TAKUMAR.

Strange, I thought that Ricoh completely abandoned this line of products, anyway the new Olympus TG-5 is also coming soon and with 4k - it will be interesting to see the competition between those two.
