Ricoh/Pentax keeps secrets better than the FBI

With all the leaks from the FBI, maybe Ricoh/Pentax can offer the bureau their secret to success. Since February, not a peep about the upcoming 50 and 85 1.4.

General trend seems to be a slow down. Interestingly , lots of full frame glass for sale in the market place, could mean either things: people planning to get some money and save to purchase the new DFA glass, or people selling their full frame glass to buy Pentax apsc, or something else. For me, Pentax is clear, they make good gear, they are small and they don't push much for selling, typically, the shop where I purchased the K1 aren't getting the KP and they were pushing Fuji X series and Fuji GFX since announced and they are now pushing the Sony A9 very hard. Not sure if they even know that Pentax released the KP, I should go to visit them and inform them that Ricoh imaging have released a camera called the Pentax KP.

When you have a national culture in which accepting responsibility for failure has historically required you to disembowel yourself, you tend to pay attention to the little details.

Until they are ready for release I would expect no news whatsoever.
