Yeah, the grammar/spelling makes it suspicious. "k1"... because I just viewed all of the "Pentax K-1" body/kit prices, nothing is marked as discontinued. OP might have overreacted a little. :-) No biggie. "Discontinued" is a scary word!

I suggest everyone cut Nickc84 a little slack, I don't think he's trying to troll anyone. Sometimes people mis-read things (I'm great at that) and sometimes there are errors on web sites. For example, I did a double take last night when I saw the KP was on closeout at Adorama.

As noted, you probably encountered a website glitch at B&H. Their current site has problems with page load such that what is displayed is not always what you intended with your click. Thanks for your diligence and willingness to alert the faithful, however

Posts to the rumors forum generally stick around and remain open almost forever, sadly enough, regardless of the OP's preference. This even happens on other sections of the site if the comments are entertaining enough. One poster has attained almost mythic status on the order of D.B. Cooper on the famous <thread shall not be named> where cheese and the fate of Tokyo are strong elements of the endless discussion.
