Correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel like the same thing could be done with a sticker on top of the standard SC

If I have learned anything about Japanese markets - never underestimate the power of Anime to sell a product.

3,939 units with a tote bag and Serial Number dog tag, available only on the special website, beginning September 1st. They'll be gone in minutes.

Okay, I'll admit that I thought, "OMG I WANT THIS. NAO." when I saw the picture of this special edition. But as Digitalis and monochrome pointed out, hardcore collectors are gonna be all over this.

And it's not just a mere decal that makes it special. The LED lights are pink to match with her color scheme, and the shutter sound is also a unique Hatsune Miku shutter sound. That'll be incentive enough for collectors to get this one-of-a-kind product.

And for those of you wondering why only 3,939 units will be produced, the numbers '3' and '9' can be pronounced "mi" and "ku", respectively.

Ricoh Imaging's R&D budget well-spent, I think we'd all agree

I fully expect it to be able to be thrown up in the air were it releases a photonic shock wave incinerating an area of 50 miles around it including careless super sayans that loiter in the area.

Indeed they did... and to a lesser extent with some of the DSLR models (and lenses).

Who could forget this eye-catching K-x? One to show off proudly at the local camera club...

Hello Kitty.

Not that I follow this kind of thing or the perplexing, almost cult-like following of maneki-neko.
