I'm not a collector so I don't know, but doesn't the silver model come out towards the end of the camera life cycle? How often after the silver edition do we see new models? What was the story of the prestige edition in the dark gray? Was that just a one time deal or will we see more of these?

I hate this kind of thing.... but if I had the money for a Silver K-1 and 31 and 77 I'd probably go for it. I don't know why. Probably because it's going to look like my first pentad, an SV, and it could very well be my last. Shouldn't your first and last cameras look like each other? I think it's illegal to do otherwise in Canada.

Although, all my SMC Taks were black not Silver, oh well, let's call the whole thing off.

I believe that Brian (dcshooter) will be seeing a lot of lenses heading his way for the "Silver Works" treatment with many lettering options available for that special occasion.
