They have an agenda.

If they were honest people, they would state it right up front. They aren't and they don't.

"No idea what he's talking about", said DxoMark official, while playing with his new DJI drone

About two years Pentax 645Z was the only member of the 101 club
Now they even removed all test results:
Pentax 645Z vs Pentax 645D
DxO ist still not willing to do their announced work (results for 645Z still missing):
Hasselblad X1D-50c vs Pentax 645Z vs Pentax 645D

Also their headlines are wrong, correct are:
  • Brand new Hasselblad ranked out by two year old camera
  • $10k MF Hasselblad gets ruled out by 30% cheaper DSLR
  • First Hasselblad DSLR to catch up with pentax has only four available lenses
  • New Hasselblad X1D only usable indoors and gets 9 year old USB protocoll

Only advantage of X1D is their 0,2bits mor color depth and 0,1EV more dynamic range.

Do they realize how obvious it is that they are on the take?

After this I’ll be sure to never ever buy any of their products. What a joke.

I'd blacklist them if i didn't have their soft already, now enhanced with Nik software (Efex, ....) funtionnalities for local post-treatment.
Btw, they changed the new soft's name : Photolab.

Are these guys angling for a fee from Ricoh to publish tests they've already done? Is that their game?

Remember that their "Sports" index is determines the highest ISO providing a certain minimal standard of image {looking at noise, DR, and CD}. Any MF camera will have an advantage there; the real question is why does the D850 do so relatively poorly??

In either case, they're a day late because we're probably going to see the 645Z's successor soon. 3.5 years into the product cycle now!
That's just appalling behavior tbh.

But, the K1 is in 2 out of 3 of the comparisons - not bad for "just" a full frame camera at the affordable end of the market!! I'm sure the next iteration of the 645 will surpass the Hassy (am I allowed to post 'piss all over'?...)
;-)
