The sport score might be of interest if your model is running away fast while trying to escape the shot.

Its about time they released it, any buddy else feel as though it was written horribly? Half the review is about the d850 or the x1d, also it seemed rushed and was only written to quiet people up. I’m surprised they didnt even mention the gfx. Oh well, at least they finally have released the review after 3 years.
Yeah - even now it's a bit grudging

Already? I expected it to surface a year or two after the 645Z replacement was launched.

I read the review as basically saying that two years later, the D850 is a little closer to the 645z than they would expect from pure sensor size. It does feel like it emphasizes how good the D850 is and how most people probably don't need the benefits offered by the 645z. Probably true, but then again a lot of folks could actually get by with a K-P rather than a D850 too.

The so-called "sports" score is really a measure of performance under conditions when high ISO is needed. With the 645Z added in, the top six cameras ranked by "sports" includes 1 Hasselblad, 3 Sonys, and 2 Pentaxes. We don't have DxOMark scores for the KP yet, but Pentax is doing very well in high ISO settings; I believe this is going to become increasingly important, and I, for one, am glad that Pentax is doing well in this area.

Exactly, the conclusion is an enlightment. What some have been saying for years just went confirmed. Well, DXO is officially irrelevant as far as seriousness is concerned.
I unfortunately expect they will still be relevant in the market and that's how companies/websites etc. are the most dangerous: taken seriously by most people but totally irrelevant, subjective if not paid.

A bit strange method of comparison and time to publish...The difference in portrait 0.2 points, in landscape 0.1, high ISO of 645Z is 16 points better...50 Mp vs 51.4 Mp
Why 102 vs 101...?

and...the camera is 3 year and 7 months old..

DxO - :P And, in case you missed it...

Here's a portrait from the 645Z...you can't zoom in here, but over on the Ricoh site you can; you can practically see the ingredients in her makeup...

Zoom in here:

Pentax just can't get a break in the review industry. They've got to start bribing people.

Cheers,
Cameron

About zooming, I think most browsers have the right-click/view image -option, where another click takes you to 1:1 zoom.

The review makes it appear as if the Hasselblad is fractionally better than the 645Z at an almost identical price - but that is misleading, at least in the UK where the 645Z body costs £5,499 (at SRS) and the Hasselblad £7,787 (cheapest price with grey imports ignored in both cases). Either way it's a lot more expensive for that 1% 'gain' - at least over here, even last month when 645Z cost £6,499 but right now it's a bargain.

I can definitely see the stubble on her arm from a poor shave. Weird stuff.

In the overall ranking, the top 7 has 2 Pentaxes.

I wonder if they did that on purpose to have more small details for the camera to show. Her face is not fully made-up, either, to conceal all blemishes.

Interesting comment in the other site's reference to the DXO test, actually acknowledging the fact that the 645Z was the highest scoring camera from 2015 to present.

According to this egregiously belated review, the 645Z has a pixel shift AA filter simulator. News to me.

Seriously, how can anyone trust a single thing DxO Mark writes?
