Three more added today, including this interesting one about a mirror mechanism that rotates out of the image path rather than swing. It states it could result in cost and size reductions to the camera.

I'm getting a headache trying to read it; could it be about the K-1's mirror? Though the floating mirror from the K-1 was designed because of space restrictions, rather than reducing mirror shock.

L.E. Maybe it's not... movable mirror shock absorbing mechanism?
The optimistic approach is to believe that this might be related to a higher speed DSLR.
