I think we need a dedicated rumors section, so that the real news can be kept separate.

I keep coming back to these postings in the vague hope someone has some real news. Wrong again.

Speculation is fine, but it's tedious in a news section, no?

There's already a separate official news forum. What's needed is a dedicated speculation forum, to keep the no-content threads away from the ones about actual leaks.

Official news forum is posted on by "site staff" only, not quite the same as other peoples genuine news. but otherwise, I agree.

If this is correct, then the new camera is smaller then the *ist D / DS.

Good news for those that need a small body.

Did you imply the market position to be above the K200D? Or am I not yet awake?

It's hard to say that this camera is on lower level than K200D.
I think it will be good upgrade for DS/K100D owners.

...Oh GREAT!

The K200D & K20D are already too close together in terms of specs. We really needed another almost identical camera.

The answer about dimensions is on the surface. How to make camera smaller?

As I wrote in the other thread... Get rid of pop-up flash. Loose the grip and put the batteries elsewhere... No SR perhaps?

Ill agree to this part without a doubt, but if pentax can implement SR in cameras such as the optio Z10 or the A10 then there is no reason why they cant include it in a DSLR regardless of size.

What ogl describes sounds a lot to me like a K-mount rangefinder body...
